Location
Poor time to survey. It was 95 degrees out and no air conditioning in the lobby, halls, elevator AND the window AC units could not keep up in the rioom. We were on the 10th floor and quite uncomfortable.

Location!! Right next to Comerica Park.
Rooms had air condition units in the windows. All of the outlets in the room did not work by the evening.

It was close to Comerica Park. We were attending a concert.
It was a throwback to the 1950's. No air conditioning in the hotel lobby. Only window AC in the rooms. Our window AC shut-off late at night. Tried calling front desk - no answer. Had to go down to the lobby. Custodian had to flip breaker to get it back on. Furniture and bed were very dated.

the best thing was it was very close to the venue.the little hole in the wall burger place had real good burgers.it was connected to the hotel right on the corner.thanks burger guy!!
the decor was out dated , the rooms where small hotel is outdated and not the cleanest i have ever seen.it took forever to get checked in due to a mistake in booking at least that was what i was told. customers where coming to the desk as i was checking in to cancel rooms because of cleanliness issues i still stayed but checked my bags over good before leaving for any unwanted hitchhikers.this place is not for the faint of heart and you might want to bring a can of bed bug spray with you at least check your stuff over real good i left my bags out in the garage and that's where they are going to stay at least for the rest of the week.location is quiet but still didn't sleep well. the lobby was a sweltering 95 degrees while standing there waiting to check in

good location, reasonable rates and beautiful old building, awesome elevator!
I have stayed at the Milner 4 times and there is always some problem, cable not working, internet down, elevator broken, etc, staff vary widely between helpful and indifferent. However, you get what you pay for, the rates are reasonable so don't expect 5 star facilities. And nothing so bad has happened to prevent me from returning.

The only thing I like about the hotel is the location.
I was not happy the wall unit ac. The furniture looked like they picked it from a garbage pile. The complimentary breakfast was not good. I would only recommend the cereal. Also we booked a queen bed and got a full. Don't think this hotel could find a queen when garbage picking.

The young lady at the front desk was a delight. Her name is Angelica. Great price and location if you are going to a baseball or football game.

The location is the best atractive for this hotel. Really close to the people mover (a kind of metro that runs in a circle around downtown). The Staff was very prestative and helped with everything. I liked the fact they offered us early check in.
The room and furniture it's a little bit old, but if you want a place to sleep to walk around the city, it's worthing for the money for sure. The breakfast was ok.

The view out our room was great!!!! We couldn't have asked for a better view of Comerica Park. We had went to the ballgame and then back to our room in time to see the fireworks.
